Ballybeen Women’s Centre is an integrated service provider committed to enabling women, young people and children to realise their potential and fulfil their aspirations through the promotion of health, personal and socio-economic development.
The areas of work of the Centre are:

· Culture and Diversity
· Education and Training
The Centre promotes the value of education and training amongst some of the most disadvantaged groups in society by providing a supportive learning environment, high quality childcare services and flexible timetabling of courses. Courses on offer include ICT and internet technologies, basic skills, health promotion, culture and diversity and arts and crafts. Over 150 women participate in courses every year.
Grundtvig II has provided the Arts and Crafts group with the opportunity to participate in an innovative and exciting project – Arts and Crafts Across Europe and participants are looking forward to presenting a range of their own crafts and learning more about other countries cultures, traditions and crafts.
